Remove the Old Trim

Mark the Reveal Lines
Mark the revealed lines with a sharp pencil. Use a tape measure and ensure the reveal lines are 1/8 to 1/4 inches from the inside edge of the window.

Wipe away any excess glue and fasten the trim in place similarly to the top trim. Do this the same way for both vertical trim pieces.
Cut and Install Bottom Trim
Use the same cutting process for the bottom trim to ensure it’s the right size. Apply wood glue to the cut end and put the trim in place. Wipe off any excess glue and nail it to the vertical trims.
